Member Spotlight: Lisa Adatto

Sometimes a crisis can be a good thing. Several years ago, Lisa Adatto and her neighbors learned that their city’s sustainability program was going to be cut due to funding shortages. Her group launched a sustainability network, which now has several teams of volunteers working on initiatives related to economic vitality, sustainable schools, energy use, water management, and climate change. She said, “Our individual actions are not going to make the difference, but when you add those actions to the actions of others, you make real change.
