Parkrose Mentors are volunteers who provide online or in-person mentoring to elementary and middle school students in the Parkrose School District in Portland, Oregon.

Today, thousands of children in this region would benefit from the support of a mentor. At the same time, many older adults seek meaningful ways to help younger people succeed in school and in life.

Parkrose Mentors bring the generations together. Mentors help students learn to read. Some mentors help students in math. The program also offers a win-win for older adults who experience the joy of mentoring.
