Forum on Bridging Divides: Do we really want to?

March 31 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Join us for our forum to deliberate the ups and downs of bridging divides. Today, many of us bemoan the way that politicians, pundits, and the media drive divisions among us, but what about ourselves? Can any good come from engaging with people who oppose our views, or should we forego this work and just amass political power? Democracy for the people by the people is personal and messy, and it centers on you and how you decide to engage with others. Let’s get talking. Click to Register for Forum on Bridging Divides

What is the SAGE Citizen Project?

This forum is being pilot tested through the SAGE Citizen Project. Our Citizen Project is a series of events focused on trends over the last thirty years that show that Americans are growing increasingly divided along political lines and feeling more contempt and hostility toward others who hold different political views. Through our events, SAGE collects and shares examples of actions that individuals can take to build bridges across divides. Click to learn more about our Citizen Project.
