How can we address multiple crises at the same time?

June 3, 2021 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

At SAGE, we raise awareness about urgent crises that if left unaddressed will lead to dangerous outcomes for present and future generations.

What responsibilities do we have when confronting any crisis? Do we have special obligations to each other and to the public? How can we respond to compounding crises happening at the same time? Can the very need to sacrifice in tough times enable our country to bridge divides when multiple crises might otherwise tear us apart?

Join SAGE on June 3 for a special presentation and conversation to explore these questions with highly respected author and historian, Dr. Chris McKnight Nichols. Professor Nichols will discuss how Americans have responded in times of crisis. Drawing lessons from history, he will point to times when various crises have caused Americans to set aside their differences, make sacrifices, and work together to create opportunity for future generations to thrive.
